Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on heavyduty trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical components
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues
- Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards are met
- Accurately document repairs and maintenance activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Collaborate with drivers, service advisors, and shop leadership
Qualifications
- 2 years of diesel or heavyduty maintenance experience (fleet, dealership, or independent shop)
- ASE TSeries certifications preferred (T2, T4, T5, T6, T8) or willingness to obtain
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required)
