Job Summary
True Nature is seeking a Guest Services Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk and guest services team. This full-time role blends administrative leadership with direct guest engagement, ensuring our sanctuary of holistic well-being is welcoming, efficient, and aligned with our mission.
The Guest Services Manager will work closely with the General Manager Retail Manager to hire, train, and support our team, while also managing scheduling, staff communication, and on-the-ground guest service excellence. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Manage daily Guest Services operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the front desk and boutique.
- Serve as the designated “Manager on Duty” when working the front desk, handling guest feedback and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Retail engagement - work with Boutique Manager to facilitate staff training in product knowledge, customer engagement and sales aptitude
- Support quarterly inventory in partnership with the General Manager and Retail Manager, ensuring adequate staff coverage.
Team & Scheduling
- Create and manage the Guest Services staff schedule, including processing substitute and time-off requests.
- Step in to cover shifts as needed to maintain smooth operations.
- Partner with the General Manager in the hiring process for new Guest Services staff.
- Spearhead training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they feel supported and equipped for success.
- Maintain and update Guest Services SOPs, “How To” guides, and the Staff Portal with the latest materials and communications.
Guest Experience & Environment
- Lead by example by actively promoting and educating guests on our offerings, including products, services, and events, both in person and over the phone.
- Deliver excellent service at the front desk, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and valued.
- Maintain a well-presented and organized reception and boutique area; communicate office supply needs to the Retail Manager.
- Support all front desk functions, including scheduling, check-ins, and handling transactions.
