Cutstone Counter Company in Alabaster, AL is hiring an Outside Sales Representative who is a self-motivated professional who can open doors, win accounts, and drive countertop sales throughout Alabaster and surrounding areas. Responsibilities
What You'll Do (Daily Expectations)
- Actively prospect and develop new business with builders, contractors, remodelers, designers, and retail partners
- Own and grow a defined territory with full accountability for sales results
- Conduct consistent in-person sales calls, job site visits, and showroom meetings
- Drive projects from initial contact through pricing, approval, and handoff
- Identify opportunities to upsell materials, edges, finishes, and premium services
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and close deals on a regular basis
- Collaborate with estimating, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure accuracy and execution
- Follow up relentlessly—quotes don't close themselves
- Track activity, pipeline, and results in CRM with discipline and accuracy
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and proactively
- Stay informed on product offerings, market trends, and competitor activity
Qualifications & Experience
- 2 years of outside sales experience (countertops, construction, building materials, or related industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction workflows and job site environments
- Proven ability to develop long-term customer relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Proficient in basic computer applications and CRM systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
