Behavioral Health Tech. Supervisor 4x10

This position is responsible for the day-to-day shift operations of the facility. Works collaboratively with the Director of Clinical Operations coordinating treatment services that include program development and implementation. This includes assisting with the program coordination, including staff oversight and scheduling, logistics/drive sheet, timecards review, performance improvement, etc. Ensures adherence to rules governing treatment and attendance at all scheduled individual and group events, appointments, and activities.  Oversees staff and clients in ensuring compliance with program and housing rules and guidelines.  

Schedule: Friday & Saturday from 7:00am to 5:30pm, Sunday and Monday from 1:00pm to 11:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist Director of Clinical Operations with general program management 
• Overseeing operations staff scheduling to ensure consistent program and participant coverage
• Ensure that program services are delivered according to company guidelines 
• Hold and maintain the safety and well-being of the residents as the number one priority
• Provides direction to staff relative to daily activities and scheduling
• Ensure that all services being provided follow local, state, federal laws and regulations, and Joint Commission standards 
• Assists Director with performance evaluations at both 90-day and annual markers  
• Oversee the completion of drive sheet and rounds 
• Provides break relief at various sites and is assigned to various sites on an as-needed basis  
• Bi-weekly timecards review and approval on time for payroll processing.
• Ensure the location is safe, comfortable, and well maintained 
• Other duties as assigned 

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a combination of education, experience, and skills to perform the duties outlined above
• A minimum of one years’ experience of progressive responsibility working in outpatient drug and alcohol programs 
• Complete and be able to perform all duties indicated in the Behavioral Health Technician job responsibilities 
• Adhere to the Company code of ethics 
• Ability to drive a Culture of Engagement
• RADT certification 
• Advanced knowledge of HIPAA
• Current certification in First Aid/CPR
• Current  TB test 
• Time management and scheduling skills 
• Be able to support staff while also maintaining accountability. 
• Professional communications skills
• Must be at least 18 years old 

                               
Competencies:

• Proficiency in the use of computers for word processing, email, and internet  
• Knowledge of software programs for personal computer use, especially word processing, and email 
• Knowledge and experience in working with chemically dependent residents. 
• Some knowledge of management principles as they relate to behavioral health 
• Basic knowledge of all federal and state legislation applicable to substance abuse 
• Commitment to cultural diversity and sensitivity 
• Ability to behave ethically
