Local Class B Delivery Driver – Tampa, FL
Pay: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM Start
Guaranteed: 40 Hours per Week
We're seeking a dependable CDL Class B Delivery Driver for local route deliveries in the Tampa area. Drivers typically finish by 3:00 PM on local routes, with some northern and southern routes running until approximately 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 24' box truck (GVW up to 26,000 lbs.)
- Load and unload deliveries using a manual pallet jack, hand truck, and lift gate
- Complete delivery paperwork and driver logs
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Provide excellent customer service at each stop
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class B
- DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one)
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of recent CDL Class B driving experience
- Minimum 1 year of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and/or Route Delivery experience (required)
- Experience using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and lift gates
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Strong customer service and communication skills
