Freight Broker

We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Freight Broker to join our growing team. In this role, you'll connect shippers with reliable carriers, negotiate competitive rates, and build a book of business you own. You'll get a strong base salary while you ramp up—and uncapped commission that rewards you for every load you move. What You'll Do

• Source, prospect, and win new shipper accounts through calls, emails, and follow-up
• Build and manage a portfolio of carriers to cover freight efficiently and on time
• Negotiate rates with both shippers and carriers to hit margin targets
• Book, dispatch, and track loads from pickup to delivery, solving problems as they come up
• Maintain strong relationships to earn repeat business and referrals
• Keep accurate records in our TMS (Transportation Management System)
• Stay on top of market rates, lanes, and capacity trends

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented—you like to compete and win
• Comfortable making outbound calls and managing a pipeline
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Prior freight brokerage, sales, or logistics experience is a plus (but we'll train the right person)
• High school diploma or equivalent; a book of business is a bonus
