What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Person position at Truck Center Companies?

Founded in 1975, the Omaha, Nebraska based dealership has grown to 17 locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Minnesota with over 1100 employees. We are currently looking to add a parts counter person for our Waterloo, IA dealership.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be proficient on a computer.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
- Assist customers with their parts needs in a professional, courteous and prompt manner.
- Answer phones.
- Obtain sufficient information from customer to ensure correct part is specified.
- Invoice all parts purchases at the time of sale.
- Determine and order necessary/ requested parts.
