Bay Breeze Care is an assisted living facility for the adult community (ages 18-59) located in Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking a hardworking, entry-level, housekeeper to assist our residents and join our assisted living team. Qualifications (non-negotiable):
- Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in housekeeping and preferred but not required
- Knowledge of operating a laundry machine and dryer
- Flexible scheduling
Job Description:
- Follow laundry schedule to thoroughly clean resident’s linens
- Replenish supplies in laundry rooms and common areas
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry room in facility
- Remove all excess waste replaces plastic liners
- Clean, scrubs, polishes and sanitize all surfaces, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors in the common area bathrooms.
- Attend monthly in-services meeting and employee training
- Prepares, cooks and presents food according to posted menus
- Utilize established recipes and food production standards
- Maintains quality food appearance and taste
- Ensure proper sanitation of kitchen and safe food handling
- Maintain a clean, safe, and productive working environment
- Complete food orders and ensures food levels are well maintain
- Additional duties as assigned by Administration
