Front Desk Receptionist for The Chateau of Long Beach
(Thursday & Friday, 8:30am-5pm, Part-Time)
The Chateau of Long Beach is an assisted living community for the elderly (ages 59 ) located in Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking a hardworking, knowledgeable, experienced, flexible receptionist that is willing to learn and help out with other positions at the facility as needed, such as transportation or activities. Qualifications (non-negotiable):
- Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays
- California Driver’s License
- Reception/Office experience preferred
Duties:
· Answers, screens, routes and directs all incoming and internal telephone calls, messages and information, including staff mobile phone calls, walkie-talkies, and emergency calls. Greet, assist and direct residents, guests and vendors.
· Maintain, assist with, or administer: Office files, resident files, marketing materials, admission packets, rosters, menu and database updates, incoming and outgoing mail and services, all logbooks, transportation schedules, etc.
· Oversees, administers and communicates all security and emergency systems and 911 calls.
· Monitor resident activity in front lobby, control flow of traffic, monitor first impression items, and ensure residents unable to leave facility unassisted do not leave without assistance.
· Secretarial and administrative support for Administrator and Coordinators.
· Other duties as may be assigned
