Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma – Required; Associate’s degree – Preferred
- CPMSM and/or CPCS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative, secretarial, or customer service experience
- Knowledge of hospital functions, medical staff office operations, and medical terminology
- Knowledge of accreditation standards preferred
- Strong organization, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills
- Dedicated, reliable, self-motivated, tactful, detail-oriented, adaptable
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient with MS Office, credentialing/privileging database systems, and standard office equipment
QGenda Experience: This is a hard requirement
- Scheduling: Create, update, and manage complex schedules for various staff (physicians, nurses, residents) using QGenda.
- Reporting: Generate reports and use dashboards for workforce analytics.
- Accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining information in databases, systems, and spreadsheets from various sources (paper, digital files), requiring high accuracy, speed, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail to support business operations, reporting, and analysis.
Job Overview:
Responsibilities include coordinating administrative support and providing resources need by and for the medical staff and coordinating and processing all aspects of credentialing and privileging activities.
