Experienced Heat Treat Furnace Operator
Location: North Houston, TX 77039
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Overtime: Must be available to stay later when required
TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Heat Treat Furnace Operator for a manufacturing facility in North Houston. Candidates must have at least one year of experience working in a heat-treating facility or operating an industrial furnace. This is not an entry-level position.
Job Responsibilities:
• Operate heat-treating equipment or industrial furnaces.
• Perform assigned production and manufacturing duties.
• Operate a forklift to move materials safely throughout the facility.
• Clean equipment and work areas as assigned.
• Cross-train on additional production equipment and processes.
• Complete physically demanding work in indoor and outdoor areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and production requirements.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum one year of heat-treating or industrial furnace operating experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Forklift operating experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in a hot, dusty manufacturing environment without air conditioning.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to work the complete schedule and stay later when needed.
• Ability to satisfy the company’s background requirements.
