We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Nurse Injector to join our team. The Nurse Injector will be responsible for performing non-surgical aesthetic treatments, including neurotoxin injections and dermal fillers, while ensuring the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and patient education. Duties
- Administer neurotoxin treatments and dermal fillers with precision, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, skin analysis, and suitability evaluations for aesthetic procedures.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expected outcomes, post-procedure care, and potential risks to ensure informed decision-making.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques during all injections and procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Document all treatments accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as AestheticsPro, including medication details and patient responses.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures for adverse reactions or complications, providing immediate intervention if necessary.
- Stay current with industry advancements in esthetic laser treatments, injectable techniques, and related technologies to enhance skill set and service offerings.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN or APRN) with current certification to perform injections in the state of IL.
- Proven experience in medical office settings with familiarity in medical terminology, documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance.
- Prior training or certification in aesthetic laser treatment, dermal fillers, or Botox administration preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to facial injections and physiology related to skin aging processes.
- Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to educate diverse populations about treatment benefits and risks.
