Duties
- Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining high standards of guest service.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
- Lead the night audit process, verifying financial transactions, balancing accounts, and preparing reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote hotel amenities, packages, and local attractions, increasing occupancy and revenue.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled efficiently.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest communications professionally.
- Cultivate relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers to boost group bookings and special events.
- Train and supervise front desk staff on hospitality management best practices, customer service excellence, and hotel policies.
- Monitor hotel occupancy rates and market trends to identify new sales opportunities while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a strong background in customer service.
- Demonstrated ability in sales management within the hospitality or resort industry to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills preferred to effectively communicate with diverse clientele.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems, reservation software, and multi-line phone systems.
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and guest interaction capabilities.
- Experience in night audit procedures is desirable for seamless financial reconciliation processes.
