Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly front desk operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and account settlements with accuracy and professionalism
- Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and concerns via phone, email, or in person, ensuring a positive experience
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports to ensure financial accuracy
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and guest interactions for reporting purposes
- Perform routine maintenance tasks during weekends such as inspecting plumbing, electrical systems, lighting fixtures, and general property upkeep
- Address maintenance issues promptly by coordinating with external vendors or handling minor repairs independently
- Ensure hotel common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with a focus on front desk or guest services roles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel management systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency with multi-line phone systems
- Ability to handle guest relations professionally while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Basic maintenance skills including troubleshooting common issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, or appliances
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and weekends with minimal supervision
