Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Prior experience in hospitality or janitorial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lobbies, hallways, and conference rooms
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed
- Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness and safety standards before completion
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred; experience with industrial cleaning or janitorial services is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and hotel housekeeping standards is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
