Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Conduct floor care activities including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance to preserve flooring quality.
- Manage janitorial tasks like trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies to maintain a spotless environment.
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including sweeping walkways and maintaining outdoor spaces.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment during cleaning or rearrangement tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ needs promptly and professionally while maintaining discretion and respect for privacy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, floor buffers, and sanitation tools.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving furniture or supplies.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic environments.
- Experience with laundry operations and outdoor maintenance is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
