Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments run smoothly and efficiently.
- Supervise front desk staff and manage guest services to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Implement revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy rates and profitability.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on customer service excellence and hotel policies.
- Manage night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning to align with hotel goals.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective leadership and communication.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with human resources for staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel systems, including multi-line phone systems, to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles, including guest relations and customer service.
- Familiarity with revenue management techniques and budgeting processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
