Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Planning & Control Engineer to support a large-scale industrial construction project. This role will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, cost control, forecasting, and management reporting across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) phases.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Primavera P6, experience working on major EPC/EPCM or heavy industrial projects, and a proven ability to manage complex project schedules and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
- Establish project schedule baselines and monitor progress against approved plans
- Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis, schedule variance analysis, and delay assessments
- Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities into a master schedule
- Track critical milestones, long-lead equipment, interfaces, and key project deliverables
- Prepare look-ahead schedules, progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves
- Identify schedule risks and develop recovery or mitigation plans
- Review and monitor contractor and subcontractor schedules and progress
- Support cost control, forecasting, cash flow analysis, risk management, and change management processes
- Provide timely reporting and early warning of potential schedule or cost impacts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field
- 10 years of experience in Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Controls, or related disciplines
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6 (required)
- Experience supporting large EPC/EPCM, heavy industrial, steel, metals, mining, manufacturing, energy, power, chemical, or process plant projects
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Project is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and reporting skills
- Experience supporting U.S.-based industrial construction projects is preferred

Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
