Job Title: Logistics BrokerLocation: Charleston, SC or Glen Ellyn, IL (In-office) (remote opportunity available on a 1099 basis)Industry: Logistics/ full truckload freightStatus of Hire: direct placement; permanent with flexible schedulePay: Base: $70,000 - $140,000 plus commission and bonusesBenefits: Health Insurance (or a reimbursement of health insurance)Position Summary:The role is a unique opportunity to join an up-and-coming firm with a strong foundation in Asset-based Trucking Logistics that has expanded its reach to 3PL services. We can hire and offer operations support to brokers who have large books and/or we may entertain hiring a Brokers support/ops team if it makes sense for all parties.Our two sales offices are mainly composed of highly tenured Freight Brokers from every sector in the industry and many come from larger corporations. We focus on hiring people who have a proven track record of success, a portable account of clients, and an ethical and moral stance on logistics and in life. Broker Expectations:- Must have a minimum Book of Business of $300,000 or more in yearly Gross Profit, and a Book of Business that is active/ transferrable.- Proof of Business/Accounts and current numbers. (I.e. Load Volumes, Avg Margin%, Avg weekly/monthly/yearly Gross Revenue)- Candidate must not be on a non-compete agreement- Candidate preferably needs to be willing to work out of either of our two offices and relocate if possible.- We will consider remote brokers but prefer in office.- Candidate must not have a criminal record of any kind **Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer, regardless of authorization or visa transferWe are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
