Estimating Manager

Position Summary:
Primary Functions:
Support Project Managers in areas such as staffing, tooling, equipment, and project tracking.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, control, and monitor projects from the quotation stage through negotiation to contract completion and final accounts, both internally and directly with the client.
- Track project costs and maintain financial control.
- Produce quotes and estimate small to medium-sized engineering projects using the Company's standard commercial approach, following training.
- Provide general commercial and project support to achieve budgeted results.
- Liaise effectively throughout the sales and order securing process and during contract works with personnel on a national and international level.
- Regularly report on contract performance, identifying and communicating potential opportunities, variations, and risks to the Project Manager promptly.
- Define the scope and methods of work.
- Adopt a proactive approach to existing and potential customers to build client relationships and increase market share.
- Ensure all projects comply with Safety, Quality, and other Company systems and procedures.
- Conduct effective national and international liaison as required.
Experience:
- Experience managing mechanical and electrical engineering projects, particularly installations of production equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Proficient commercial skills and project management abilities, including negotiating, planning, estimating, costing, and quoting.
- Strong IT skills (MS Office) and numeracy.
- Familiarity with current OSHA standards.
- Good financial skills, including cost and budgetary controls and accounting procedures through to final accounts.
- Project Management qualification or specific training.
- Ability to secure contractor’s licenses for the company.

Salary : $100,000 - $145,000
