What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Analyst position at Troy University?
The Accounts Payable Analyst position is responsible for assisting both the Director of Accounts Payable and the Accounts Payable Coordinator with the activities of the Accounts Payable Department.
Essential Functions:
- Audit university travel/miscellaneous reimbursement requests in compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines of the university.
- Communicates frequently with faculty, staff and outside vendors both verbally and in writing on matters relating to accounts payable transactions; acts a liaison between departments and vendors.
- Initiate wires/ACH for vendor payments.
- Provides support and documentation on internal processes for accounts payable as required for audit purposes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director and/or Coordinator.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field
Preferred Qualifications
1. Master’s degree in Accounting
