This role demands cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when working with patients, families, physicians, and hospital personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients based on assessed needs
- Demonstrate a patient-centered approach using the six steps of the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and reevaluation)
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols in all nursing activities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations
- Strive to provide remarkable service, promoting customer service initiatives to patients, visitors, and physicians
- Current Alabama RN or LPN License required
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (TRMC will assist with obtaining this if needed)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments
- A professional, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills is essential
- One to three years' experience preferred but not required
