What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Receptionist - Medical position at Troy Medical PC?
High volume medical practice in Troy, Michigan is seeking front office/clerical staff. Qualified candidates must have great interpersonal skills and be self-starters who are organized, able to multitask, efficient with time management, Proficient in word, willing to learn and capable of excelling in fast-paced, stressful situations. Duties include: greeting patients, obtaining and updating insurance and demographic information; filing charts and reports; scanning and uploading to EMR, answering multiline telephones, emailing, and performing other clerical services; responding to patient questions; directing patients to proper departments; processing and posting payments; and providing patient check-in/check-out services. Applicants must at a minimum have basic computer skills. Experience in customer service in a medical office is preferred. No certification is necessary. Must be available to work as late as 7pm and on rotating Saturdays.
Availability must include: 3 days/week 8-6:30pm; and every other Saturday 8-1:30pm (35-40hrs/week). Additional Hours may become available.

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
