Pinnacle GI Partners is seeking a Physician's Assistant to join our outstanding team at Michigan Gastroenterology Institute, located in East Lansing MI. The physicians and staff of Pinnacle GI Partners specialize in gastroenterology, which covers all aspects of the digestive system. Our specialty includes diagnostic endoscopic procedures and ultrasounds, liver disease studies, reflux diagnosis and management, and motility studies. The ideal candidate will have goals and ethics that align with the Pinnacle GI standard of patient care.
This position is based in our clinic in East Lansing, MI, with rotating coverage with McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital.
The qualified candidate will have an understanding of nurturing meaningful patient relationships while providing a high level of patient care. In addition, strong communication skills and a team-oriented demeanor are required. Some of your daily responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team.
Some Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Certification as an Adult Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan
- Three to five years’ experience as a Physician Assistant desired, preferably in GI care
- Excellent organizational, analytical and clinical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen
