The Role
We’re hiring a Sales and Marketing Executive to drive new business, grow/retain accounts, and support marketing execution across Troy’s LCL and FCL import/export services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-based selling, building pipeline, and turning great service into repeat volume.
Responsibilities
Sales
- Prospect, pitch, and close new B2B accounts (freight forwarding/NVOCC customers)
- Build and manage pipeline, follow up leads, and reactivate dormant accounts
- Coordinate pricing/solutions with operations to win profitable business
Account Management
- Own a portfolio and grow wallet share (lane development, cross-sell products)
- Run structured outreach (calls, meetings, QBRs) and resolve issues with ops
- Track activity, opportunities, bookings, and margin in the CRM
Marketing Support
- Help execute campaigns/events (email/LinkedIn/trade shows)
- Create/update simple sales materials (one-pagers, lane flyers, service updates)
- Capture market feedback to sharpen messaging and targeting
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams including sales, content creation, and design.
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting customer relationships
- Organized, strong communicator, CRM-proficient
Nice to have: LCL/FCL ocean freight knowledge.
