Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk supports warehouse operations by managing shipping and receiving documentation, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring accuracy across all logistics functions. This role provides essential clerical support to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisors while maintaining high standards of organization, communication, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage shipping and receiving documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all paperwork related to the shipping and receiving process.
• Provide administrative and clerical support, including filing, scanning, faxing, and emailing.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
• Prioritize daily workflow to ensure shipments are processed and dispatched on time.
• Retrieve, analyze, and evaluate data to support warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with management and operations teams to maintain smooth workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 2–4 years of related experience in a warehouse or logistics administrative role preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
