Job Overview
Big game outfitter in Northwest Montana looking for experienced guide for the 2026 hunting season. We still have a spot for one more guide for the the season guiding elk, deer, and bear hunts.

Position beginning early to mid September. Guides are brought on prior to the beginning of the season and given time to scout and learn the area where we hunt.

Job requirements and duties include but are not limited to

-Educating clients on hunting techniques, safety procedures, and wildlife conservation practices

-Guiding multiple hunters on big game hunts while adhering to federal and state hunting regulations

-Providing exceptional customer service by catering to clients' needs and preferences

-Quartering and packing out game animals harvested by clients

-Maintaining vehicles and equipment assigned to you for the season

-Scouting for game and hunting areas

- Horse experience is beneficial but not required

Skills
- Must be honest, trustworthy, and hard working

- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and local authorities

- Exhibit leadership qualities needed to guide and motivate hunting groups and to lead hunters confidently and safely

- Excellent customer service skills to provide a high-quality experience for clients

- Manage time efficiently to get clients into hunting areas in a timely manner

-Ability to successfully and efficiently navigating through mountainous terrain

- Be a self-starter and motivated to go to work

This is a team environment, and guides are expected to chip in and help out where needed. That being said if you are a guide on our crew, we believe your job is to guide hunts and I will attempt to keep you in the woods in the pursuit of game.

Salary depending on experience.

Bunkhouse style lodging is provided, and meals will be prepared by the cook during hunting season.
