Trophy Pest Control is local and family-owned pest control company operating out of Tarpon Springs and servicing all of Tampa Bay and NOT PE backed. The Owner comes from a background in Customer Service and Technology and is committed to growth, and wants those around him to grow too in responsibilities and income. We specialize in insect and rodent needs primarily in Residential but expanding more into Commercial. We are looking to grow rapidly, and are looking for expertise in general pest control, termite services, mosquito and rodent/exclusion services. We are looking for a skilled technician to join our close-knit team and help us deliver exceptional service to our community. This role is perfect for someone who has formal training but feel there growth potential is limited either due to working at a big company or a family where promotions are given to relatives of the Owner.
This role will include many bonus opportunities related to: Route Completion, Google Reviews, Overall Company Sales and Revenue Targets. Role Mission
As a Pest Control Technician at Trophy Pest Control, you will be responsible for delivering expert pest management services along with excellent customer service skills and communication. This position is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction through technical expertise and outstanding service, contributing to the overall growth and success of our local and family-owned team.

Responsibilities & Expectations
- Execute comprehensive pest services: Recognize different pest species and successfully perform regularly scheduled maintenance treatments. Strong ability to read and interpret product labels and operate vehicles and application procedures safely
- Termite Knowledge: Experience in termite bait station installation and monitoring, liquid trench and treat methods, graph drawing, drywood spot treatment. Bonus for Boaracare applications and Drywood Sub-Contracting processes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service: Build strong relationships with clients, educate them on pest prevention, and address their concerns with professionalism and care. Commission incentives for upsells and new sales.
- Maintain operational efficiency: Work systematically and effectively to manage service routes, complete treatments on schedule, and maintain high-quality standards.
Required Experience & Skills
Required:
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with general pest control treatments and identification
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift 35 lbs and perform demanding tasks
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Preferred:
- Experience with termite identification, treatment, and prevention methods
- Knowledge of termite bait systems and fumigation sub-contracting practices (or ability to learn)
- Additional pest control specializations (mosquito control, wildlife, fire-ant programs etc.)
- Florida pest control license or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in residential and commercial pest services
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Successfully complete 95% of monthly pest service appointments on time
- Achieve customer satisfaction ratings of 4.5 stars through quality service delivery
- Demonstrate proficiency in termite bait station installation and monitoring within 90 days
- Maintain accurate service records and treatment documentation for 100% of completed jobs
