Essential Job Functions:
Pool Responsibilities:
- Greet and orient members and guests upon arrival to the pool area with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Check member IDs and ensure the accurate number of guests (if applicable)
- Enforce pool rules and regulations as posted, including but not limited to: no chair saving, dress code adherence, no glass or alcohol in the pool, and use of swim diapers for infants.
- Ensure the pool deck is clean and orderly at the beginning of each shift:
- Align lounge chairs neatly
- Open umbrellas and inspect for safety/condition
- Restock towels
- Restock bathroom items (as needed)
- Empty trash cans (as needed)
- Assist members with relocating umbrellas or lounge chairs as needed.
- Help F&B team clear used dishes and cups to maintain a tidy environment.
- Report maintenance, safety, or guest concerns promptly to Maintenance Technician and the Resort Manager promptly.
- Promote a positive and respectful atmosphere among all guests and team members.
- Oversee daily laundering of towels used in the pool, spa, and gym areas.
- Ensure fresh towels are stocked throughout the day in designated areas.
- Monitor and manage towel inventory, reporting shortages or supply needs.
- Wipe down and sanitize tables, lounge furniture, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Straighten and reposition pool, gym, and spa furniture to ensure an orderly presentation.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles as needed and ensure cleanliness of common areas.
- Assist in setup and breakdown of community activities or events as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior customer service, hospitality, or wellness facility experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physically able to lift, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying guest or facility needs.
