Bay Creek Resort, located in Cape Charles, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Nature Preserve Ranger/Recreation Coordinator! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains cleanliness of facility operations according to established daily maintenance procedures
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of department programs, events, and activities; answers guest questions regarding such programs
- Records all cash, check, and charge transactions based on established cash control procedures
- Maintains understanding of operating procedures for the pool, bikes, boats, and fitness equipment
- Completes checklists for opening, closing, and daily procedures
- Takes direction from the Facility Coordinator, Special Events and Youth Coordinator, and Conference Recreation Coordinator
- Assists in the implementation of programs, including youth programs, special events, and conference recreation events
- Provides a safe environment within facilities and activities
- Processes recreation reservations as needed
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Plant and Wildlife knowledge
- Certifications Preferred but not required
