Job Overview:
Gamble Sands is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our team for the summer season. This position offers hands-on experience in marketing within the hospitality and golf industry, providing an opportunity to develop skills in event coordination, media relations, social media content creation, and guest engagement.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 24 - 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and execution of marketing events.
- Support media hosting activities, including coordinating visits and assisting with content creation.
- Develop and manage social media content to enhance engagement and brand visibility
- Contribute to general marketing initiatives, including promotions, advertising, and partnerships.
- Assist in analyzing marketing trends and gathering data to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Engage with guests to ensure a high level of satisfaction and gather feedback for marketing insights.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement creative strategies that align with the brand.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for marketing, hospitality, and guest relations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in marketing, events, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
