The Club at Crested Butte has an opening for a Market Manager. This leadership position oversees daily Market operations and supervises Market Attendants while embodying the club’s high standards of service and commitment to an exceptional member experience.

The Market Manager will oversee the Market operation and Market Attendants. This position will embody the Club at Crested Butte’s standards of service and member experience.
Essential Duties:
- Organizes and conducts pre-shift meetings to review menu changes, house counts, etc.
- Ensure cash drawers are counted at the start and end of each shift. Following protocols for dropping end of day reports and cash drops to the accounting office.
- Assists Food & Beverage Director in the interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning process, etc. of all Market Attendants.
- Safely operate all necessary equipment including but not limited to deli slicer, knifes, ovens, and steam table.
- Manages all Market staff. Creates schedules and approves timecards.
- Evaluates performance, rewards, and discipline of Market staff members.
- Responsible for training new Market staff members on POS and SOPs related to preparing food items and cleaning the facilities.
- Ensure compliance of State liquor laws and regulations are followed by all Market staff members.
- Ensures all Market facilities are kept clean, well-stocked, and organized.
- Participate in and oversee daily market activities to include working the deli line, bussing tables, working the register, and general clerical duties.
- Circulate throughout the facility to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
- Ensure quality control of all food products coming out of the Market.
- Greet members and guests to complete customer satisfaction.
- Creates revenue forecasts and reports. Monitors the Market facilities budget.
- Complete inventory on the last day of each month and submit it to the Food & Beverage Director.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing/payment for all services/goods rendered/received.
- Updates POS as it pertains to food and beverage operations.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Physical activity may include long hours (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping.
- Regularly lifts 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals as required.
- 1-2 years of previous managerial experience preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality/food and beverage industry preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including AM, PM, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proficient administrative skills/knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
- TIPS and SERV Safe Certifications.
