Blackstone Country Club, located in Peoria, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items with consistency, accuracy, and attention to presentation
- Execute dishes across multiple stations with minimal supervision
- Set up, maintain, and break down assigned station efficiently for service
- Ensure all food meets the club’s quality, flavor, and presentation standards
- Follow and uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
- Assist with advanced prep work, including sauces, proteins, and specialty items
- Support banquet and event execution, including large-scale and timed service
- Communicate clearly and professionally with chefs and fellow kitchen staff
- Assist in training and mentoring junior cooks as needed
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a line cook in a professional kitchen
- Experience in fine dining, upscale casual, or private club environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work multiple stations and perform under pressure
- Strong sense of urgency, organization, and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Food safety certification required (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
