Role Type: Seasonal (position will last 6 months or less)

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professionals on the daily management of golf operations.
- Assist with golfer check-in and fee collection; control and manage play; reconciles daily tee sheets.
- Assist in administering all point of sales application revisions and needs as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing.
- Promotes all club golf activities.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop.
- Assist with maintaining proper records and billing of storage and lockers for membership.
- Assist golf professionals during tournaments and weekly games.
- Monitors all members’ scores, reports handicapping to USGA and bills members.
- Follows established opening and closing procedures.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Prefer previous golf course and/or retail experience.
- High School Diploma.
- Prefer some College or College Degree, or equivalent experience.
- Must be motivated to thrive in the golf industry.
- Experienced in written and oral business communication.
- Experienced in computer user including Microsoft Word, Excel, & Publisher. Proficient in other applications, i.e., email, internet, and database.
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- Self-motivated with desire to promote and market.
- Service and customer focused attitude.
- Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community.
