Leasing Associate

Trojan Partners Management Group is looking for a full-time Leasing Agent to join our team. This position will be based in Los Angeles and will focus on leasing student housing and multifamily properties near USC.

The Leasing Agent will be responsible for handling prospective tenant inquiries, scheduling and conducting tours, following up with leads, marketing available units, and assisting applicants through the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries received through Zillow, Apartments.com, our website, phone calls, text messages, and email
• Schedule and conduct property tours
• Follow up with prospective tenants and applicants
• Post and maintain rental listings across various advertising platforms
• Process rental applications and assist applicants throughout the approval process
• Prepare and send lease agreements
• Maintain accurate records of leads, showings, and leasing activity
• Work closely with management to keep unit availability and pricing up to date
• Assist with occupancy goals and leasing efforts across the portfolio

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and reliable work ethic
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently
• Previous experience in leasing, property management, sales, or customer service preferred
• Experience with AppFolio is a plus
• Familiarity with the USC student housing market is a plus
• Reliable transportation required

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience and may include leasing commissions and performance incentives.
