SUMMARY
To greet visitors and answer the main switchboard lines in a professional business manner.
To assist departments with the overflow of clerical work that can be completed at the front desk area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Greet visitors
* Answer front desk main switchboard lines
* Responsible for all visitors to sign in
* Responsible for assigning visitor badges (per FDA requirement)
* Maintain company's internal telephone directory
* Distributing company birthday card to employees (monthly)
* Maintains Employee Personnel Files
* Assist with payroll tasks as needed
* Assist with scheduling in-house training
* Assist with new hire packets as needed
* Complete SysAid requests for terminations
* Complete Facility Requests for building and/or department needs
* Order Office supplies for department and building.
* Prepare and send out termination packets
* Administer Employee Diabetes Supply Request Program and maintain log
* Update and maintain various spreadsheets (i.e. FRM-QSI-18-00 effectiveness of training, benefit eligibility). Send related communication.
* Assist with the Monthly Newsletter
* All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to working in other departments, reassignments, etc.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one- on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight
measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in
standardized situations.
