Position Overview
The Safety Staffing Specialist is responsible for growing Trivent's staffing services by generating new client opportunities, recruiting and placing qualified safety professionals, and supporting client and workforce needs throughout the assignment lifecycle.
This is a hybrid role that combines business development, recruiting, account management, and workforce coordination. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, responsive, and motivated by performance.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new staffing opportunities with contractors, subcontractors, and other industry partners
Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify workforce needs and generate repeat business
Conduct outreach through calls, emails, networking, referrals, and follow-up activity
Source, screen, interview, and qualify candidates for safety-related positions
Match candidate qualifications, experience, and availability to client and project needs
Coordinate candidate communication, assignment details, and start dates
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and placed personnel throughout assignments
Support onboarding, credential verification, and assignment readiness
Address workforce issues, scheduling changes, and client needs in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate records, pipeline activity, and staffing updates in company systems
Help drive strong fill rates, retention, client satisfaction, and staffing revenue growth
