Role: Information Systems Programmer and Analyst (Health Services)
Location: Martinez, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Summary: The Client is seeking a programmer and analyst to create and maintain web applications, thick client applications, custom integrations between third-party software, data extracts, reports, and APIs. The programmer and analyst will be responsible for the full product development lifecycle including gathering requirements, communicating with stakeholders, providing estimates, developing the solution, testing, deployment, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be able to create and maintain applications, including web applications, in a variety of programming languages included (C#, VB.Net, SQL).
- Managing development projects including gathering requirements, communicating with stakeholders, creating estimates, creating and managing tasks, documenting new features, testing, peer reviewing others work, deploying finished products.
- Prefer experience in the following areas:
- Creating SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
- Creating custom FHIR API specifically related to Provider Directory APIs.
- Integrating third-party SaaS products with custom and vendor supplied apps.
- Experience developing solutions within ServiceNow.
- Possession of ServiceNow''s Certified Developer Certification
- Integrating AI into applications and workflows
- Experience with .NET Core, Scrum, Agile
- Experience in the following languages and technologies: Java, JavaScript, Node.JS, PowerShell, vb6, python, Angular, React, XML/HTML/CSS, MySQL, and Redis
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Possession of a Bachelor''s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Health Information Management, Medical Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Health Science, Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience: Four (4) years of full-time (or the equivalent of full-time) experience performing software applications programming and/or systems analysis, one (1) year of which included programming responsibility and one (1) year of which must have been in a health services environment.
- Substitution for Education: Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two (2) years.
- Substitution for Academic Major: One (1) additional year of qualifying experience may be substituted for the academic major.

- The principles, practices, methods, and techniques of leading systems development and data analytics projects
- Advanced programming techniques including integrated database management applications
- The operational characteristics and capabilities of database management systems
- The principles and procedures of quality assurance and security related to computer applications
- The advanced methods and techniques used in the installation, trouble shooting, upgrading and problem resolution of information systems
- Advanced methods and techniques of system design, programming and software installation
- Advanced principles and practices of software troubleshooting
Salary : $50 - $60
