Role Description The Front of House Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Triumph Restaurant & Brewery in Princeton, NJ. This position oversees daily front-of-house operations, including supervising host, bar, and service staff to ensure smooth shifts and outstanding guest experiences. Responsibilities include managing reservations and seating flow, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining high standards for service, cleanliness, and safety. The Front of House Manager collaborates closely with the kitchen and brewery teams, leads pre-shift meetings, trains staff on menu and beer knowledge, and supports sales initiatives and promotions. The role also includes scheduling, basic reporting, and helping maintain a positive, professional culture on the floor.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal communication and effective coordination with staff and guests.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage guest interactions, resolve issues, and create a welcoming environment.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including table service standards, bar service, and familiarity with craft beer.
- Experience in Training front-of-house staff, providing coaching, feedback, and supporting ongoing skill development.
- Background in Sales within a restaurant or hospitality setting, including upselling, promoting specials, and supporting revenue goals.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in restaurants, bars, or breweries.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and reliability.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
