Stockyards Supervisor - C Shift

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for overseeing and directing the staging activities in the Stockyard area of Plant Operations. Ensure best methods are uniformly utilized with respect to animal welfare practices and Triumph Foods Policies.

EDUCATION OR TRAINING REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (LENGTH & TYPE): Five years industry related experience to include 2 years fresh pork experience in the Stockyards area is preferred.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups or customers. Bilingual skills preferred.

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must meet the company standards for attendance, safety and personal conduct.

Exempt.  Hours are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management.

• Regularly exposed to cold/hot and/or humid conditions, climate extremes are found in all areas of the plant
