Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced and driven Quality Systems Manager to lead the design, rollout, certification, and continual improvement of Triton's ISO 9001-compliant QMS. This role will collaborate closely with engineering, program management, operations, and leadership to build a quality culture that ensures reliable processes, compliance, and long-term organizational maturity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System tailored to Triton's R&D-to-commercialization environment.
- Create and maintain QMS documentation including policies, procedures, work instructions, and controlled records.
- Plan and conduct internal audits; coordinate external readiness and certification audits.
- Lead non-conformance investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) programs.
- Track, measure, and report on key quality metrics, risks, and process performance.
- Provide quality training and awareness programs across departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings, data trends, and stakeholder feedback.
- Coordinate quality requirements with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Engage cross-functional teams across R&D, engineering, manufacturing partners, and leadership to embed quality into daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience developing and implementing a comprehensive ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System in a DoD environment is needed.
- Proficient hands-on experience implementing or maintaining an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements, auditing principles, and quality system best practices.
- Experience conducting internal audits and preparing for external certification audits.
- Strong documentation, process development, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Department of Defense and Prime Contractors.
- Excellent communication and ability to influence across levels and disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common quality system tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification, ASQ CQA/CQE, or similar.
- Experience in an R&D, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CAPA methodologies, risk management techniques, and continuous improvement frameworks.

Salary : $125,000 - $155,000
