Long Term Substitute Psychology and World History 1.0 FTE
Triton High School is searching for a long term substitute to fill a maternity leave within the Social Studies Department. The leave will run from the beginning of December through the middle of March. This position will be teaching AP Psychology, Psychology CP, and World History. Triton searches for Social Studies teachers who are passionate about cultivating a deeper understanding of human interaction, social structures, and the impact these have on society. We are committed to developing a strong sense of student agency, promoting voice and choice within the classroom as well as the school. Our social studies courses focus heavily on both skill development and contextual understanding.
The successful candidate will also be highly collaborative and creative in their approach to working with students. The successful candidate will build rapport within the department and will support both students and families.
