What are the responsibilities and job description for the LASER UNLOADER Day position at Triton Metal Products?
Role:
- Adheres to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Clocking in and out of work order correctly.
- Safely and efficiently operate grinders, hoist, cut wheels, and any other equipment used for part unloading and processing.
Determine cause of scrap and if it can be reworked, or if in question see foreman.
Process paperwork, print labels and claim parts/scrap correctly.
- Read blueprints to determine work order instructions for such specifications as de-tabbing, or oxide removal, part marking, Lissmac, or DA sanding.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Knowledge of metal materials preferred, but not required
- Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
- Dependability
- Positive attitude
- Self-motivated
- Willingness to help fellow team members achieve production goals
