The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to develop strategies that support organizational transformation and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage.
- Conduct impact analyses to assess the potential implications of changes on processes.
- Coordinate planning and execution of activities related to engineering changes along with approval workflows for engineering changes.
- Develops and finalizes part breakpoints with guidance from Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales.
- Optimize time, cost, and scope of engineering changes at the manufacturing site.
- Structure and maintain bill of materials (MBOM), create routings and workflow.
- Review existing product design, identify weaknesses, propose for approval, implement and monitor effectiveness of improvements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Problem solving, failure analysis/RCA as well as continuous improvement using various methodologies such as Six Sigma, 8D.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Cross functional support as required for new and current product investigations, introductions or improvements including using tools such as PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Kaizen, Pareto analysis
- Prepare and present reports on change management activities and outcomes to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in change management or a related role within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience in project management and process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in change management tools and software.
- Understanding of blueprint interpretation, geometric tolerancing, classification of fit.
- Proficient in ERP software.
- Certifications in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) are preferred.
