Overview
TriState Hospitality is seeking an experienced Procurement & Contracts Manager with a strong background in Federal and State janitorial and facility maintenance contracts.
This position plays a key role in identifying, bidding, and securing new service contracts for janitorial and building maintenance operations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with government procurement systems, proposal preparation, and contract management, as well as working knowledge of janitorial operations and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and pursue new Federal and State contract opportunities related to janitorial and facility services.
- Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and RFP responses through platforms such as SAM.gov, eMaryland Marketplace, and local government portals.
- Manage and maintain relationships with procurement officers, facility managers, and contracting agencies.
- Ensure full compliance with government regulations, contract terms, and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to price, structure, and deliver proposals that align with operational capacity and service standards.
- Track active bids, renewal dates, and award notifications to maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
- Support post-award contract administration, including onboarding, reporting, and coordination with janitorial supervisors.
- Stay current on government procurement trends, set-aside programs, and vendor registration requirements.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in procurement, contracting, or business development — preferably within janitorial, facility management, or service-based industries.
- Proven experience navigating Federal and State procurement systems (e.g., SAM.gov, GSA, eMaryland Marketplace, DC Supply Schedule).
- Strong understanding of janitorial or facilities service contracts and compliance standards.
- Excellent writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
