We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dental practice, contributing to both clinical and administrative aspects.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Sterilize and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with infection control protocols.
- Restock treatment rooms with necessary supplies.
- Manage lab cases and assist in scheduling patients for crowns, dentures, partials, and other procedures.
- Assist the doctor chairside during various dental procedures.
- Possess knowledge of dental terminology and procedure protocols, including fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, or a willingness to learn.
- Obtain and maintain an X-ray license or possess an existing X-ray license.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Open Dental software is preferred, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Willingness to obtain or already possess an X-ray license.
