Job Summary And Qualifications
The polysomnographer is responsible for the assessment, treatment, and care for patients with sleep disorders.
What you will do in this role:
In collaboration with the patient/family, you will systematically and continually assesses the patient’s health and be able to demonstrate appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures, and guidelines in assessing of the ages served.

Job Summary And Qualifications
The polysomnographer is responsible for the assessment, treatment, and care for patients with sleep disorders.
What you will do in this role:
In collaboration with the patient/family, you will systematically and continually assesses the patient’s health and be able to demonstrate appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures, and guidelines in assessing of the ages served.
- You will assess, monitor, treat, document, and interpret data in the following modalities:
- NPSG
- Cpap/Bipap NPSG
- MSLT
- MWT
- Prepares patient for Sleep Studies per policy
- Cleans re-useable equipment per policy
- Titrates Bipap/Cpap per policy
- Administers Oxygen per policy
- You will complete ongoing patient assessment and document according to policy, before and after therapy.
- You will report symptoms and significant changes in the patient’s condition to appropriate personnel including physician.
- You will organize and prioritize care for optimal time management.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or CPR, must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Polysomnographer or Certified Respiratory Therapist TN state licensure
