The Director is responsible for coordinating and facilitating appropriate and timely throughput collaboratively with all clinical departments of the organization and with the Division Transfer Center.

Job Summary And Qualifications
The Director of Clinical Operations provides overall leadership and direction of all assigned areas within the facility. The Director is responsible for coordinating and facilitating appropriate and timely throughput collaboratively with all clinical departments of the organization and with the Division Transfer Center.
What you will do in this role:
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision of staff.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patient appropriate to the ages of patients served.
- Evaluate and prioritize inbound and outbound patient movement to ensure bed capacity standards are consistently met.
- Direct the coordination of facility capacity flow and appropriate bed placement services.
- Maintain 24-hour accountability for staffing and coordination of Bed Management services.
- Manage operating services within productivity targets.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, regulatory and accrediting body standards, and federal and state laws governing access services to include EMTALA and standard of care guidelines.
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of service delivery.
- Monitor and provide reports to designated team members relative to Bed Management Metrics.
- Provide oversight of PI, staff development, and environmental safety of reporting departments.
- Collaborate with the Transfer Center to facilitate timely patient transfers.
- Promote market growth through collaboration with referring facilities, physicians, and EMS providers.
- Demonstrate the ability to be proactive and eliminate obstacles to the admission/transfer process.
- Promote hospital and company customer service initiatives.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing required.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) within the state of Tennessee or compact state required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills.
