Role Description The Account Manager is a key member of Tristar's operations team, responsible for managing and strengthening client relationships across an assigned portfolio of commercial accounts. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with demonstrated ability to oversee service delivery, lead field personnel, and ensure consistent quality standards are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate exercises sound judgment, communicates with clarity and professionalism, and takes a proactive approach to client satisfaction and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial clients; cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships through regular communication and responsive service
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled on-site inspections to evaluate service quality, assess cleaning procedures, and ensure compliance with client contract specifications
- Develop and implement proactive quality assurance strategies to identify and address service gaps before they impact the client experience
- Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to field supervisors and cleaning crews assigned to managed accounts
- Coordinate staffing and scheduling with operations to ensure appropriate coverage and service continuity across all client locations
- Monitor account-level budgets, manage supply and equipment inventory, and implement cost-control measures to meet financial objectives
- Respond promptly and professionally to all client and staff inquiries, concerns, and service requests; document and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of site inspections, client communications, service changes, and incident reports.
Qualifications

- Operational coordination skills to oversee service delivery, schedule staff, and ensure compliance with service standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.

- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and reporting tools) and comfort working with internal systems.
- Experience in facilities services, commercial cleaning, or building maintenance is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct regular site visits, and collaborate with field and office teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field is a plus.
