Location: Oldsmar, FL 34677

Duration: 12 months Contract

Payrate: $28.00/hr on W2

Citizenship Requirement: US Citizens or Perm Residents

Shift: 1st Shift Mon-Thurs 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM with OT on the weekends.

Job Description:

Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.

Role will incorporate use of drawings and written inspection instructions.

Use of various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc) to 100% visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards.

Required Skills:

• Must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time
• Must be able to sit at work station for long periods of time
• Must have prior experience visually inspecting solder connections, both SMT and Thru hole applications in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
• Minimum 2 year of visual solder Inspection experience.
• Minimum 1 year conformal coating experience
• Must have good attention to detail, and be Quality and process oriented, proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, navigating and understanding IPC standards, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Personal Computers.
• Interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of operations when addressing quality defects.
• Must have IPC-610 and J-STD experience, resume needs to reflect prior solder inspection experience/history.
• Candidates must be able to read/write English.
• Candidates must take and pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide.
• Candidates must take and pass a vision exam as outlined in the supplier guide.

Job Description:

Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.

Role will require comprehension of process instructions, drawings and/or inspection instructions and checklists, use of various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc) to visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards.

Basic Qualifications Include The Following:

• Must have MIN 2 years prior experience visually inspecting solder connections of both surface mount and plated thru hole components in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
• Must be able to navigate within the IPC standard, and decipher accept/reject criteria.
• Detail-oriented, and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Personal Computers.
• Interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of operations when communicating quality defects.
